The FFEC3005LW 30″ Frigidaire white cook top is the official replacement for older model number FEC30C4AS. It is also available in Bisque (very light brown), black and stainless steel.

If I were looking for a white 30 inch cook top, this is the one I would get. It’s affordable, reliable and it has standard burners and controls. That bit is important to me now because I have owned a white smooth top model for the past three years and keeping it clean has been a constant headache. The white smooth top surface constantly gets black, charred residue on it that is almost impossible to clean off! And don’t even think about replacing a burner (or the glass top if it gets cracked)… Prices on burners & tops for smooth top cook tops are 5 to 10 times higher than on a “normal” model like this one. I put normal in quotes because lately everyone is running after the fancy, smooth models. Anyway, I digress… I should just get on to the specs for this particular Frigidaire cook top.
