I recently got my hands on a new toy: a sound activated LED chaser light made by Chauvet. The DJ Bank. I hooked it up and played with it at the house but I haven’t had a chance to try it in a live setting. It’s pretty freakin bright and colorful in the living room! This Friday night I’ll plug it in for our gig & give it the real test. Actually, I have another coming tomorrow so I’ll have two… I plan on securing them to the tops of my speakers (I don’t have a truss or anything yet) and letting them run most of them time. I’m still debating whether to point them out or in (probably in?). Anyway, I’ll report back later. Hopefully with some video footage!
